2i Group 4 Project 2015

Group 4 poster session for 2i on 28 May 2015
The Group 4 Project is a mandatory part of the IB Diploma Programme offered at our school and includes the experimental sciences (biology, chemistry, physics). The project provides our students with a possibility to carry out every part of a scientific investigation from design and data collection to conclusion and evaluation, and is a good practice for next years challenging assignments, the Extended Essay (EE) and the various Internal Assessments (IAs) in different subjects. At the same time the students are evaluated on their personal skills in terms of collaborating with classmates and reflecting on their own strengths and weaknesses in working out the project. This year, we asked the students to produce and present a poster outlining their investigations. There were many fine posters, but the teachers eventually settled on giving Linnea, Camille and Asger the prestigeous Niels Bohr award - including a box of licorice pipes.
