IB DP 2015 class
Once again the traditional IB Hat Ceremony has taken place at Nørre Gymnasium. The event was conducted in the foyer, festively decorated with flowers and international flags. Everyone was in a joyful mood and spent a festive afternoon with lots of happy faces, smiles, and warm hugs.
While our Year2 IB DP students must still wait a few weeks for the results of their exams, they and their families gathered along with their subject teachers to celebrate the end of their two years' studying at Nørre G, working towards the IB Diploma.
In her speech to the graduates, IB Coordinator Jutta Rüdiger underlined the importance of defining and pursuing one's very own, individual path.
Assisted by Headmaster Jens Boe Nielsen, IB Coordinator Jutta Rüdiger presented the students with their flag-encircled version of the graduation hat which is traditional in Denmark.
After receiving his hat, world dance champion Artem asked the IB Coordinator for a surprise dance
Our two talented musicians Duc (piano) and Jens Lauritz (percussion) contributed once again with some beautiful pieces of musical arrangements
In their speech, Lærke and Christoffer reviewed two years as IB DP students and concluded that they had truly grown into "Learner Profile" world citizens.
The IB Coordinator thanked Rikke and Sigurd for their active involvement in the IB Committee.
Another traditional element of the Hat Ceremony: The Hats-In-The-Air-Moment
We wish all the students all the best for their future education - and life !!
