A festive Orientation Evening with many visitors
Nørre G's Orientation Evening was held on Tuesday night. Around 1200 expectant and interested potential students and parents came to hear what Nørre G can offer.
In the Assembly Hall, Headmaster, Jens Boe Nielsen, welcomed the guests and told them about the school and our expectations. Furthermore, Asta from 1g told them about her start at Nørre G and Victor from 3g told them about the three years at Nørre G which are almost over - already - while a group of committed students informed the visitors of the many possibilities of involving yourself academically and socially outside classes and homework.
In between the presentations, the school's show band and choir performed, and the theatre group showed a piece from their upcoming show "The Black Rider", which is playing next week.
Outside the Assembly Hall, student-guides were ready to show the guests round the school to visit booths and classroms where more engaged students and teachers were ready to present the subjects and the special study programmes (Studieretninger) at Nørre G.
It was a festive evening, and we are looking forward to welcoming many of the visiting students as a part of Nørre G at the start of school in August.
