About Group 6

In this group you may choose another subject from groups 2, 3 or 4 - or you can take VISUAL ARTS (HL AND SL) which is the practical and theoretical study of art and design in all their forms from a historical as well as a contemporary/individual point of view.

The course falls in two parts: Studio Work (practical) and Investigation Workbook (theoretical). All art students do both and both HL and SL students can choose whether they want to emphasize studio work or investigation workbook. You will discover, develop and appreciate different means of creative visual expression in the studio and elsewhere, e.g. museums, exhibitions.
