IB Hat Ceremony 2011
Submitted by Webmaster on Wed, 22/06/2011 - 23:33
On Wednesday 22 June, IB Coordinator Jutta Rüdiger welcomed this year's cohort of IB graduates, their families, friends, and teachers in the Study Center for the traditional "Hat Ceremony".
In accordance with the national custom, students receive a hat/cap to commemorate their graduation; yet in contrast to their Danish fellow students who have already received their grades, the IB's can only access their results online on 6 July... along with other IB's in 130 countries all over the world. Nevertheless, there is reason to celebrate the end of their 2-years' international education !
We all keep our fingers crossed for these engaged students' good results - may the multi-flagged ribbon around their hats be a sign of the global outlook in their heads.
