the subject in the center of the IB hexagon, together with CAS and Extended Essay;
where we do not (just) ask 'what do we know', but ask 'how and why do we know';
where we ask many questions and give only a few answers;
where we treat the other IB subjects, not dealing with the subject itself, but with 'about the subject' as a way of knowing:
- not with History, but with 'about History', not with Math., but with 'about Math', not with a specific language, but with 'about language', not with a specific ethical question, but with 'about that kind of questions';
where we do create more doubt than certainty in a specific kind of knowledge;
