Project Research Trainee 2021
 - Workshop 1

This week, Project Research Trainee 21 was set in motion. After last year’s restrictions it was really nice to have everyone be able to meet physically for the intro, a presentation on research, and the first workshop meeting for the groups and their researcher.

The event started with a welcome and introduction by Nørre G’s Principal, Mette Vedel, and project co‑ordinator from Christianshavns Gymnasium, Lene Nørholm Jakobsen.

This year’s speaker was Anne Kahr Hällman, Director, KEA Applied Research & Innovation. She gave a vivid insight into what research is and and how applied research at an academy of professional higher education differs from fundamental research at a university.

Then it was time for the student groups and ’their’ researcher to begin working on defining the research question for the projects. This was the first of three workshops at Nørre and CG during September and October. Each group concludes their project with a poster to be presented at the Grand Finale at Christianhavns Gymnasium on 4 November.
